This is a regular in-person meeting, workshop, and seminar of the U.S. Dept. of Energy-funded Florida Alliance for Accelerating Solar and Storage Technology Readiness (FAASSTeR) initiative, including a project team meeting and workshop on Wed., June 6th, followed by a broader stakeholder workshop on Thu., June 7th.

The project meeting and workshop is to share results, gather input, have team discussions, and plan future activities. The stakeholder seminar and workshop will include an update on activities and results associated the FAASSTeR initiative, updates from Florida utilities on current plans and projects related to solar and energy storage, talks from experts on solar forecasting and energy storage, and opportunities for discussion and engagement.

Wednesday, June 6
8:00 am – 5:00 pm Project team meeting, with presentations on results, group discussions and planning sessions, including planning and prioritization of budget period 2 research activities.
Thursday, June 7
8:00 am – 5:00 pm Stakeholder meeting for utilities, technology suppliers, researchers, policy makers, and other stakeholders with updates on FAASSTeR project, presentations on topics of interest including forecasting and energy storage, and group discussion.
