Superintendent of Customer Service – City of Homestead

Salary: $74,048.00 – $90,272.00 Annually

The City of Homestead is currently accepting applications for the position of Superintendent of Customer Service.

The position is responsible for managing and overseeing all departmental activities including but not limited to: field services & operations, meter reading, work orders, utility billing, collections, cash operations, call center management, customer account management and process improvement.

Minimum requirement of a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in business administration, management, industrial engineering or a related field, plus five years of management level experience in the utility service sector.  (Master’s Degree preferred). Expert working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, including the use of Excel and Microsoft Access for data analysis. Experience with SunGard HTE governmental software and Cognos Business Intelligence is highly desirable. Thorough knowledge of pertinent laws, ordinances and state statues related to the utility service industry.
