The board of directors for the Orlando Utilities Commission (OUC – The Reliable One) has narrowed its search for a successor to Ken Ksionek, General Manager & CEO, who in July announced his retirement, effective February 2018, after leading the utility for the past 14 years.
An OUC board-selected advisory committee, comprised of Gregory Lee, OUC board president, and Linda Chapin and Tiffany Moore-Russell, community and civic leaders, assisted with the national search.
The four candidates are:
- Jan C. Aspuru, OUC Vice President, Electric and Water Production
- Clint Bullock, OUC Vice President, Electric and Water Delivery
- Doyle N. Beneby, former CEO, New Generation Power International
- William Gaines, CEO, Tacoma Public Utilities
“We were pleased to receive a tremendous number of applicants from across the country,” said Gregory Lee, OUC board president. “The caliber of the candidates is a testament to the opportunity this position represents for the Commission and our community.”
The OUC board will conduct interviews with the candidates in the coming weeks and intends to name the new General Manager & CEO by the end of the year.
